The UNCOVERED Conference 2024 joins iMEdD International Journalism Forum

A notable addition to this year's iMEdD International Journalism Forum is The UNCOVERED Conference 2024, Europe's largest cross-border investigative journalism event. Organized by the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) in collaboration with the International Press Institute (IPI), European Journalism Centre (EJC), and Arena for Journalism in Europe, and funded by the European Commission, this conference highlights top investigative journalism and addresses the challenges of exposing cross-border crime and corruption.

For the first time, the UNCOVERED Conference will be held within the framework of the iMEdD International Journalism Forum, taking place on September 25 and 26.

Registration for the first day of UNCOVERED opens in July and is separate. The first day is limited to registered guests, including IJ4EU grantees.

Registering for the Forum grants you access to the second day of the UNCOVERED Conference.

IJ4EU Impact Award: Celebrating Cross-border Investigative Journalism in Europe

The UNCOVERED Conference will close with an awards ceremony on September 26 for winners of the IJ4EU Impact Award 2024. Like the conference, the awards ceremony will be hosted by the iMEdD International Journalism Forum. With a total of €15,000 in cash prizes, the annual awards celebrate excellence in investigative journalism carried out by teams collaborating across borders in Europe.

UNCOVERED is the annual conference of the Investigative Journalism for Europe (IJ4EU) programme.
