Ioannis Papadopoulos

Journalist, Kathimerini

Ioannis Papadopoulos is a journalist and multimedia producer at Kathimerini and a reporter at Special Report on ANT1 TV (2021-2022 season). He studied Journalism at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and got an MA in Print and Multimedia Journalism from Emerson College in Boston. He has worked at the newspapers Aggelioforos, TA NEA and the magazine Tachydromos. In 2016 he was shortlisted for the Special Award of the European Press Prize and in 2017 he won the 3rd prize at the print category of the EU Migration Media Award. In 2021 his first book was published about the COVID-19 pandemic.
