iMEdD's International Journalism Forum 2022 is the fourth edition of an annual gathering of journalists, initiated by iMEdD nonprofit journalism organization. Each year, journalists and media professionals from Greece and around the world come together to discuss new methods and tools, exchange ideas, address concerns and build a strong community in a bid for a better journalism.
In 2022 the Forum brings into focus the trust crisis in journalism, attempting to take a deeper look into the underlying causes and consequences of the issue, and come up with possible solutions. Renowned Greek and international speakers, journalists, media professionals, and the public will participate and share their experiences through a series of panel discussions, keynote speeches, specialized workshops, and much more.
iMEdD's International Journalism Forum "A Matter of Trust", which was scheduled to take place with physical presence in Athens on 11 & 12 February 2022, has been postponed due to the exceptional health conditions prevailing in Greece and internationally. iMEdD, with the aim of defending public health and always in relation to the latest epidemiological data, is going to hold the Journalism Forum at a later date within 2022 to be announced in the near future on the official website of the event. The location will be announced at a later stage too.
The Forum is organised by iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development). iMEdD is a nonprofit Journalism organisation founded in 2018, courtesy of a donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). Its mission is to support and increase transparency, credibility, and independence in journalism, in an effort to promote excellence in the field.
