Journalism Forum 2023

The International Journalism Forum 2023, an annual journalistic meeting organized by iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development), was held from September 28 to 30 at The Athens Festival venue, located at 260 Peiraios Street, Athens.

The Forum brought together the global journalism community for some sessions of knowledge-sharing, networking and inspiration, providing an opportunity for participants to explore the ways in which innovation and journalism can co-create the industry's next day. Attendees took part in a packed schedule of talks, workshops, open discussions and other events that were designed to facilitate learning and knowledge sharing among journalists.

Renowned journalists, media professionals, academics, journalism students, independent media and established organizations from every corner of the globe attended the Forum.

The participants had the opportunity to develop their skills, be inspired by innovative ideas and approaches, and engage in discussions about the current and emerging challenges facing journalism worldwide.

In the previous Forum held in October 2022, over 1000 participants were able to attend 38 sessions and hear from 120 speakers.
