Senior Research Affiliate, Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa

Massimo Moratti is currently Senior Research Affiliate for Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa. He has been living and working in South-East Europe, in particular in the Balkans for more than 20 years, focusing mostly on human rights protection, working for a number of international organisations. In 2018, he joined Amnesty International as Deputy Director for Europe Regional Office and he has been following the developments in Greece for the past 4 years. He has been a correspondent for Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa since 2005 as their correspondent from Sarajevo first and Belgrade later.
