Cvetkovska Saska

Co-founder/Chief Producer, Investigative Reporting Lab (IRL)

Saska Cvetkovska, an acclaimed investigative reporter/editor, is associated with the Investigative Reporting Lab – Macedonia and the Organized Crime and Corruption Report Project (OCCRP). Her prominent role as lead reporter on the OCCRP project "Spooks and Spin —Information Wars in the Balkans" revealed how Macedonia evolved into a propaganda hu influencing the 2016 US election. Noteworthy national and cross-border investigations by Saska exposed corrupt officials and the illicit arms trade in the Balkans. Presently, she spearheads the innovative investigative documentary serial Newsroom, aiming to enhance the impact of investigative reporting in non-mainstream media. Her works have been featured in esteemed publications such as the Guardian, Buzzfeed, USA Today, ProPublica and more. In 2023, Cvetkovska was honored with the European Young Leaders fellowship (EYL40) by Friends of Europe.
