Özalp Aylin

Managing Director, The Black Sea

Aylin Özalp is the Managing Director of The Black Sea, an independent investigative newsroom focusing on Turkey and the Black Sea region. She specialises in growing fledgling and small-to-medium, non-profit organisations by co-designing development strategies and team structures, closing partnerships, fundraising, and representation in online and offline event programmes. She is also a consultant for Squarewise, an Amsterdam-based transition bureau that helps organisations to accelerate sustainable transitions. Aylin holds a BSc in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam.
