Truax Eileen

Journalist/Content Director, Migration Journalism Conference

Eileen Truax is a journalist specialized in migration and politics, and Content Director of the Migration Journalism Conference, a yearly event celebrated in Spain. Originally from Mexico, she moved to Los Angeles in 2004. She has covered four presidential elections in the USA, and her work has been published in outlets such as The Washington Post, Vice, Newsweek, and 5W. Eileen has authored several books, and she often dictates migration journalism workshops for universities and NGOs. After 17 years living in the USA, she currently lives in Catalonia, where she’s a Literary Journalism lecturer at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
