Luu Chieu

Director of Video, South China Morning Post

As Director of Video at the South China Morning Post, Chieu Luu oversees a team of 20 based in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai that produces award-winning news and feature video content for SCMP's digital platforms. Chieu joined the Post in 2018 and has been at the forefront of its digital transformation. In the past five years, the video team has also collaborated with the Post's infographics team to produce several award-winning animated explainers. Prior to joining the SCMP, Chieu worked for CNN, CGTN, Al Jazeera and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
