Film Director, Investigative Reporting Lab (IRL)

Trifun Sitnikovski is an accomplished film director and producer hailing from Skopje. He is currently collaborating with reporters and producers from the Investigative Reporting Lab in Skopje and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project in Amsterdam. With over a decade of experience in the film industry, Sitnikovski has an impressive portfolio that includes several short films, TV shows, and over 100 TV and social media commercials.

Sitnikovski's most recent project, titled "Newsroom," showcases his talents as a director and co-author. This pioneering endeavor effectively highlights the impactful work of investigative reporters. What sets this project apart is its innovative approach, which utilizes the structure of fiction movies to create investigative documentaries. The success of "Newsroom" has already inspired adoption and replication in the Baltic region.
