Journalist/Chairperson, The Black Sea
Zeynep Sentek is a Turkish investigative journalist specializing in financial corruption, offshore structures, climate, and human rights. She’s the chairperson of The Black Sea, an independent investigative newsroom focusing on Turkey and the Black Sea region. She also is the project director for the climate network of Arena for Journalism in Europe. Prior to that, she worked at UK-based media openDemocracy as a coordinator. For many years, she was part of the journalism consortium European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) Network where she took part in major cross-border projects. She has a PhD in political science.
