EDJNet is a network of independent media organisations and data newsrooms producing and promoting data-driven coverage of European topics in several languages. The network brings together journalists, developers, and policy experts. EDJNet works as a collaborative community, news aggregator, and learning hub.

EDJNet has participated in the Media Village in both 2023 and 2024.

iMEdD is an EDJNet member, and regularly joins cross-border investigative projects co-developed with other network partners. These collaborations have resulted in impactful data stories such as:

• The voter abstention “bomb”, over time, across Europe
• Mapping Diversity
• The Undeclared War on Women in Europe

Following the successful in-person EDJNet editorial meeting hosted by iMEdD in Athens in April 2024, the annual editorial meeting for 2025 will be held as part of the Forum, continuing the tradition of strengthening collaboration and strategic planning among network members.
