Chieu Luu leads the award-winning video team at the South China Morning Post, which has been at the forefront of the publication's digital transformation. While remaining Hong Kong's English-language newspaper of record, the SCMP has also become a digital news leader known for its original and extensive multimedia reporting on Hong Kong, China and the Asia-Pacific.

Under Luu's leadership the video team has won accolades from the World Association of News Publishers for the series SCMP Films and SCMP Explains, as well as from the New York Festivals Film & TV awards, and Luu was named Video Executive of the Year at the 2024 Digiday TV & Video awards.
