Frederik Obermaier

Frederik Obermaier, Germany, is a book author and Pulitzer-Prize-winning investigative reporter. Together with his colleague Bastian Obermayer he founded the Munich-based investigative newsroom paper trail media (exclusively publishing in DER SPIEGEL, ZDF, DER STANDARD and TAMEDIA). Together with this colleague Bastian Obermayer, he initiated the Panama Papers, Bahamas Leaks, Paradise Papers-investigations.

Obermaier is co-founder of the Anti-Corruption Data Collective and author of several books, including best selling accounts of the so called Ibiza Affair, which lead to snap elections in Austria, as well as the Panama Papers: “The Panama Papers: Breaking the Story of How the Rich and Powerful Hide Their Money”.
