Is climate journalism digging the grave for both media and society?
Add to my calendar

Environmental degradation and climate change are matters of destiny, both for democratic societies and journalism. And as reporters, our job is to seek and publish the truth about environmental degradation and climate change. But what if our usual way of presenting truth-seeking news results in massive loss of audiences and revenues as well as feeling of despair among the people we want to strengthen? How do we as journalists handle that challenge in a digital landscape ruled by the tech giants? If we want to empower our audiences and increase their interest in quality journalism, perhaps we need to rethink how we do journalism?

This session is curated by the European Data Journalism Network (EDJNet) represented by Ornaldo Gjergji.
