Getting to Athens Festival venue

The iMEdD International Journalism Forum 2023 will be held from September 28 to 30 at the Athens Festival venue, located at 260 Peiraios Street in the Tavros district of Athens. Situated alongside the Athens School of Fine Art, the venue can be easily accessed and is well-signposted. The entrance will be through Polykratous street.

When it comes to transportation, there are two convenient options:

ISAP – Athens-Piraeus Electric Railway (Line 1):

If you choose this mode of transport, alight at Kallithea Station. Upon exiting the station, follow the railway tracks in the direction of Piraeus until you reach Dimitsanas Street. Take a right into Peiraios Street, cross over, and continue to walk towards central Athens for a short distance. Soon, you will find the Gate of Peiraos 260.

Bus:

Another option is to take the bus. If you opt for this, you can alight at either the “Yfantiria” (Υφαντήρια) stop or the Scholi Kalon Technon (“School of Fine Art”) stop. Both stops are served by Routes 049 and 914. For bus route and schedule details, visit www.oasa.gr.

For those arriving by car, the venue offers its own car park equipped with approximately 100 spaces for cars, as well as a limited number of spaces for coaches.
