Born in 1982. For a decade, Dimitra Triantafillou worked as a staffer for the free press newspaper ‘Athens Voice’ dealing with social reporting and reporting about city issues. At the same time she collaborated in the same reportage with Sunday newspaper magazines. In 2015 she started collaborating as a fixer with foreign media such as: Bloomberg, CNBC, NRK etc.
In 2017 she switched to every day news reporting. She worked in this position for the Sunday newspaper "Nea Selida" and then in big greek sites, such as newsit.gr and dikaiologitika.gr. She is currently a reporter for kathimerini.gr.
She has won two scholarships: one from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation for a course in investigative journalism at Columbia University and one from the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network for a survey on the effects of the Greek crisis on the health of citizens and their shift to parapharmaceuticals.
