Nikolia Apostolou

GIJN's Resource Center Director

Nikolia Apostolou is the GIJN's Resource Center director. The Center is a leading source of tip sheets, videos and reporting guides on investigative and data journalism. The Center’s digital library catalogs more than a thousand items, including 70 reporting guides to subjects as diverse as satellite imagery, human trafficking, Indigenous communities, and property records.

Prior to that and for 15 years, Apostolou was a foreign correspondent and multimedia journalist for dozens of media outlets abroad, like BBC, The Associated Press, AlJazeera, Deutsche Welle.
