Pavol has been Head of RSF’s EU/Balkans Desk since 2020 after having worked for two years as the press freedom organization’s correspondent in Slovakia. A holder of Master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris and Comenius University in Bratislava, Pavol worked as a journalist at the Slovak daily Sme and the European media network EURACTIV.
iMEdD is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 courtesy of an exclusive Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) donation. Its mission is to support and promote transparency, credibility and independence in journalism, as means of securing meritocracy and excellence in the field.
