We will explore the fundamentals of algorithms and AI subdomains and how they can be used in journalism to tell stories. The session will showcase more than 20 examples of different projects from around the world (mostly US, Latin America and Europe) to get inspired on how to work with AI for text, audio, images, video, satellite imagery, sensors, etc. Investigations on politics, environment, health, education. This presentation is perfect for the general audience without any specifications.

Participants who wish to go deeper, can then attend the second part of the workshop, "AI in small newsrooms - How to make an AI project possible with a good strategy & collaboration [Part II]".
