Over the past 6 years, the South China Morning Post's award-winning infographics and video teams have collaborated on a number of projects that have proven highly successful with our global audience and have won international accolades within the news media industry. In this presentation, the leaders of these respective teams, Marcelo Duhalde and Chieu Luu will explain the processes of using infographics and animation for two different scenarios: A breaking news story with limited visuals, and a long-running and much covered current affairs story told in a new way through illustration and interactive Web presentation and an animated video.
